Announcing Supply Chain Equity Partners

A group of leaders from the distribution industry announced the launch of Supply Chain Equity Partners, the world's only private equity firm focusing entirely on investments in distribution and related logistics companies. The firm is unique because nearly all of its committed capital comes from experienced distribution professionals. The fund's investors include former and current executives of distribution companies along with leading consultants and advisors to the industry.

Supply Chain Equity Partners seeks to invest in strong management teams and business owners to build industry-leading, visionary distribution companies. The firm plans to focus on controlling investments but will consider holding minority positions in these companies. "Supply Chain Equity Partners will be the best possible partner for a distributor," said Jim Miller, a partner of the firm. "Our investors have built successful distribution companies in multiple industries. Portfolio companies will benefit from our industry-specific knowledge and experience."

The other two partners in Supply Chain Equity Partners are Nir Gabriely and Jay Greyson. Together, the three partners have over 50 years of operating and investment experience with acquisitions, buyouts, recapitalizations, corporate restructurings, and other transactions involving wholesale distribution companies.
